Louis Jadot Coteaux Bourguignons

The wine has an intense red color. Fresh aroma is expressed with the juicy notes of red currants, fruits. Rich and balanced on the palate with berry hues, pleasant acidity and long-lasting, dry, slightly spicy aftertaste.

The wine pairs well with simple dishes (pasta, pizza, fried meat), cheese, grilled fish,  red meat, game birds.

After harvest, the fruits are gently pressed followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks under the controlled temperature. 

The wines are aged in French oak barrels and concrete tanks. 

"Coteaux Bourguignons" Rouge is made from Gamay, harvested from old vines cultivated on granite soils in Beaujolais, and Pinot Noir, coming from clay-lime soil in Chalons.

Appellation Coteaux Bourguignon was founded quite recently - in 2011. He "united" Bourgogne and Beaujolais, having received official permission to produce blended wines from grapes grown in certain places of these two appellations.

Founded in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most famous wineries in Burgundy. Today, Maison Louis Jadot owns over 154 hectares of vineyards in Burgundy, with a focus on the potential of every Burgundy appellation, from Grand Cru to regional wines. The label of all wine bottles of the winery adorns the head of the mythological god of wine Bacchus.
