For this Vintage release, Bernard Walsh selected only the finest distillates of Single Pot Still & Single Malt Irish Whiskey, matured in exceptional American Oak casks. Non-chill filtered, this whiskey is a full-bodied, high strength, flavoursome whiskey, with just 6,000 bottles created.

The name of whiskey translates as "Writer's Tears" - a poetic and meaningful name, not devoid of humor. The manufacturer even listed "donors of tears" - the pearl of Irish literature, one of the oldest in the world.

Both brands offer taste profiles that are unique, through the recreation of traditional Irish whiskey recipes from the 19th Century – Ireland’s golden era of whiskey distilling.
