Zonin Amarone della Valpolicella 2017

The wine is pomegranate color with ruby hints. In elegant aroma the notes of berries, prunes, chocolate and tobacco are noticeable. The velvety, soft and intense taste is rich with notes of cranberry, leather, cloves, sweet spices and nuances of round tannins. In long aftertaste you can feel fruity tints and subtle shades of dried fruits.

The wine pairs well with meat dishes, mature and spicy cheese. 

After harvest, the grapes are dried on wooden racks and stored in well-ventilated rooms for about 120 days. After maceration on the skins for 7-8 days at a low temperature and a fermentation process that lasts from four to six weeks, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation.

The wine is aged in old Slavonian or Bulgarian oak barrels for 2 years․
